Eating for the Gold

This July, the City of Mountain Brook is "Eating for the Gold!"

This project is the brainchild of Mountain Brook’s Cherokee Bend Elementary 6th Grader Addison Presley. As part of a school enrichment program, Addison wanted to come up with an idea to help our restaurants this summer… a time when restaurant traffic is slower due to family vacations. With the help of Mayor Stewart Welch and the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce, "Eating for the Gold" was born!

Each week during the month of July, 5 people (8th grade and below) have the chance to win a $25 Village Gold Certificate just by eating out in Mountain Brook and sending a picture of their meal and/or dining out with friends and family to chamber@mtnbrookchamber.org!

Mom’s, Dad’s, we are counting on you to be your child’s biggest supporter for this contest! We hope every one of you will get in on the fun!! And best of all, our restaurant owners will love you for supporting them!!
