Knollwood Drive Drainage Modifications Project

The Birmingham Water Works (BWW) will begin drainage improvements in right-of-way between Knollwood Drive and Royal Oak Court. This work will include installation of new underground drainage pipes, new drainage structures, site grading and other miscellaneous items to correct an existing stormwater runoff issue. No utility interruptions are expected in the community. The project is expected to take 90 calendar days to complete. Roadways may be temporarily blocked for equipment and materials to be delivered. Rast Construction is the BWW’s General Contractor performing the project. Wilson Whorton and Ward Rast will be managing the project for Rast Construction. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rast Construction will be placing door hangers in the community the week of March 4th. Rast Construction will start work on March 13th.
