Gerald Garner

From the moment he served as an Alabama Senate Page, Gerald Garner dreamed of serving his state and his community. After graduating from the University of Alabama and beginning his career in the financial services industry, Gerald married his wife Sally, a graduate of Mountain Brook High School. Gerald and Sally knew from the beginning they wanted to start a family and live in Mountain Brook. They have a daughter who is a Freshman at Ole Miss and a daughter in the 9th grade at Mountain Brook Junior High.

Gerald's desire to have his daughters grow up in a great community led him to join the Parks and Recreation Board. After serving 11 years, he was honored by being asked to serve on the Board of Zoning Adjustment, where he served until taking office as a City Council member on November 2, 2020.
