Lloyd Shelton

Lloyd Shelton is a CPA and Shareholder with Borland Benefield, P.C. in Birmingham. After graduation from Mountain Brook High School, he attended the University of Alabama and received a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He has served as a member of the Mountain Brook City Council since 2014, and currently is the Council’s liaison to the O’Neal Library and Chairman of the City’s Finance Committee.

Lloyd has previously served and been involved with the Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation, the Mountain Brook Sports Corporation and the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce.  He and his wife Sarah have resided in Mountain Brook most of their lives.  They have two sons, David and Dan, who both graduated from the Mountain Brook school system.

Lloyd and Sarah are members of Baptist Church of the Covenant where Sarah retired as Senior Pastor.
