MB Merchant Relief Fund

Mountain Brook is an amazing community who comes together in a crisis, and we have never experienced a crisis anything like the Coronavirus. OUR MERCHANTS ARE THE HEARTBEAT OF OUR COMMUNITY; therefore, the Mayor, City, and Chamber have worked diligently to offer a way to support our merchants. 

Phase I of the initiative, "Save Our Restaurants" was a huge success, as we raised $40,000 for restaurant kitchen and wait staff as part of a rapid-response initiative. Now, we have launched Phase II - the Mountain Brook Merchant Relief Fund, which supports all Mountain Brook bricks-and-mortar merchants.

In PHASE II, we are challenging each household to contribute $100 to this campaign. 100% of money raised will go directly to our merchants. Additionally, there is a "Mayor's Challenge"...for every $1000 donation, a private foundation will match the donation up to $40,000! This is a 501(c)(3) tax deductible donation. Please join our movement!
