Ronnie Vaughn is the Public Works Director for the City of Mountain Brook. Ronnie joined the Mountain Brook team on October 24, 2011 and has over 34 years experience in public works with the City of Birmingham where he served in several positions including acting director and deputy director.
Ronnie is active in the American Public Works Association serving as a past Alabama executive board member, Solid Waste Association of North America, and has served on the Leadership Speakers Bureau for United Way since 2002.
In January 2011, Ronnie completed the Advanced Public Works Management Program at The University of Georgia. He also completed the Integrated Emergency Management course at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland in 1997, and has taken numerous courses through the Auburn University Engineering Extension system.
