Arrest Warrants Issued Following July 22nd Vehicle Crash that Killed Mountain Brook Child

In the days and weeks following Annabelle Mullican’s death, Mountain Brook Police Detectives worked diligently to gather and review all facts related to this case. On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, our detectives presented the results of their investigation to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office. Arrest warrants have been issued for Sarah Kathleen Cumbest Mullican of Mountain Brook for Reckless Manslaughter (§13A-6-3) and Felony Attempting to Elude (§13A-10-52). We will release another update once the warrants have been served.
