Mountain Brook Vehicle Crash

On July 22, 2023 at approximately 5:27 PM, a single vehicle crash occurred in the 3400 block of Cherokee Road in Mountain Brook, AL.  Moments before, the vehicle had been observed on Old Leeds Road at a high rate of speed and observed turning onto Cherokee Road.  Mountain Brook Police then located the vehicle crashed.  An adult female and two juvenile females were transported to a local hospital.  One of the juvenile females has died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  This is still an ongoing investigation.
